Horror Reverb starts London shooting

There's a new UK film shooting in London right now that on the face of the short blurb sounds quite interesting, it's called Reverb, and it's following in the recent UK production of some cracking horror movies.

Leo Gregory, Eva Birthistle and Margo Stilley will star in Brit horror pic "Reverb," the directorial debut of screenwriter Eitan Arrusi ("Long Time Dead").

Pic, which starts shooting Monday in London, is produced by Frank Mannion of Swipe Films, which is also handling worldwide sales.

It's the story of a struggling rock musician trying to get his career back on track. He is locked in a recording studio overnight with his band. They sample an old record with a terrifying voice hidden in the music, and all hell is let loose.

Grammy-winning music producer Jack Knife Lee has written the film's signature track.

That's the write up from Variety Bloody Disgusting, and the heads up of filming was just caught through Time Out.

Sounds interesting and BD took it in a totally different way to myself, they caught onto the Evil Dead connection, whereas I immediately thought of similar Asian horror films. However you can read far too much into a blurb and the proof will be in trailers and early news of the film. Perhaps, since it's UK, I'll be luck enough to find out some additional info...

That's a great premise for a movie. I'll keep an eye on this one.

"British horror" - it will either rock or suck.

Dear boy, you look absolutely awful. Why don't you try acting? It's so much easier.
