Yes, that's right, the news is coming out that Brett Ratner has done such a good job on X-Men: The Last Stand that he's been asked to direct the Wolverine spin-off film.

Talking to MTV, Jones said "[Brett] was saying that they'll probably use a lot of the characters," Jones said, implying that the director will also return alongside star Hugh Jackman in "Wolverine." "Hopefully [the Wolverine/ Juggernaut rivalry] will come into it".

Well let's not all jump to our feet yet, doesn't sound anything more like guesswork at the moment, sure Ratner could have said that in reference to the franchise. Although they are right, looking at the footage that's coming out it does look like fun, but it does depend how he manages to handle the character angle or if it has just been turned into one big action film.
