Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland in Don't Look Now. Sexy and realistic. It doesn't feel cheap and 'stylised' the way sex can be portrayed on screen.

Plus, it's a great movie...

Rene Russo & Pierce Brosnan in The Thomas Crown Affair.

There are a couple of moments that looked improvised and catching Russo out a bit. Either that or she played a her part really really well.

Oh, thank the Lord the original Basic Instinct leg-crossing scene isn't in there.

A little bit naughty without showing all the "details", plus a bit of laughter and the odd mistake make for a very sexy scene.

In your face nudity and "no imagination required" scenes are not clever or sexy. Same goes for "horror" movies that are all blood and guts.. ..yawn!

I agree Pablo. I think when it's "implied", the more sexy it comes across comparing it to being in your face that can be sickening.

Wow, a surprisingly large amount of same-sex scenes (or maybe not if guys have been voting). I'm pleased to see The Hunger on there, it's a very erotically charged scene and a beautiful film, too

Although Lee I have to say you should turn to the original film to see how sexy a chess game can be!

Great top 10...u missed Carrie Fisher in Return of the Jedi 'Jabba's Barge' outfit!!!....well it did it for me.

How about running a top 10 of peoples scariest movies....couple off the top of my head that left me with sleepless nights (in no particular order)....

1. Event Horizon (dont know why...just a really unsettling film)
2. The Grudge (that long haired ghost just gives me the heebies)
3. Ring (last scene obviously...by the way has anyone watched this film and the phone has rung???)
4. The Shining (one from my childhood...sheesh...took me years to watch it again)
5. The Omen (all 3...yes I know there are more but the rest dont count....ice hockey on lake scene is particularly chilling)

Those are the ones that jump immediately to mind.

I just remembered, Kevin Costner & Madeleine Stowe in "Revenge".

I'm a freak. I know it. But the scenes in Dead Calm when Nicole Kidman is in her little bitty underwear being chased by the big greasy greek type dude did it for me. especially since he'd seemingly killed her guy to get to her.

Lol secetary rocks, i just find the spanker hot, there's something mysterious about him. That rear window kiss is fantastic, very sensual. Uhm i find mystery and desperation pretty sexy in scenes, sorry but i love 9 and a half weeks, had some rather sexual moments in it we don't need to go into which ones, if you've seen the film you'll know lol. Uhm sorry but i find that desperate kiss in Bladerunner sexy, or maybe it's just Harrison ford lol.

God there's so many others but they've currently slipped my mind.

9 1/2 Weeks has tons of really sexy moments in it. I think for me the best was in the darkened room with the projector...
