Slither reviewed

Slither.jpgSlither has been seen, and there's a review to be posted on the net very soon, but as a teaser the reviewers have posted a few words about what they saw, and it looks really positive.

Over at Twitch Todd tells us that a review is coming in a couple of days, but since they (or none of us) could wait, they've posted some very short comments about it. Without giving away all six points and stealing their thunder...I'm sure they won't mind me showing you the top three...

1. Best film of the type since Tremors. Easily. 2. Gunn is a fearsomely talented writer, loading things up with snappy dialogue and stacks of well developed characters. 3. Effects are great, thanks largely to an emphasis on practical effects rather than CGI wherever possible.

Oooh, that sounds good. These guys steered me well during the Edinburgh Film Festival last year as I wrote a few reviews for them, and they will be doing the same again this year. Without a doubt they have great talent in picking non-mainstream films that are really good, so I trust them on this one. However seeing the trailers and teasers I really thought it was going to be mediocre...looks like I'm going to be wrong.
