The Departed set photos

MartinScorsese.jpgCombining the Japanese remake theme with the not really news theme and we get the latest news from the big named but ill fated remake of Infernal Affairs, The Departed, we get two set photos which do nothing but make us think of the original but with less cinematography.

You can catch them over at Movies Online. Actually the rooftop scene looks a little comic.

Personally I still can't get my head round why the hell Martin Scorsese wants to remake any movie, particularly one that is already this good...

We can trust Scorsese. I think the remake will be far superior than the original. Didn´t we BEAR that REMAKE of KING KONG?

We can bear that. The cast is outstanding, and it´s not another oriental horror remake. Scorsese knows how to do it: Cape Fear was also a remake.

I have not watched the original "Infernal Affairs", maybe I dont need to now, Mr Scorsese has never disappointed me as far as I can remember.

Peter, have you seen the original? It's stunnningly good.

Actually, I haven´t seen the original (bloody honesty o´mine!). But Scorsese himself said he loved it. And I think it will be a very respectful remake and a movie on his own.
