There's more and more being revealed about the inside work on the Frank Miller adapted graphic novel 300, and the more you see about it the more you understand about the overall filmmaking process, how hard it is to be an actor on a film that contains action sequences, and how visually exciting this film is going to be.

The latest video diary shows the training that the Spartan actors are being put through...it makes me so jealous that I'm not in the gym these days...I know, it sounds sick but if you are or have been a gym freak you'll know what I mean. There's also a few nice shots for the ladies, particularly a few shots of Gerard Butler and his sleek torso!

Some of the previous diaries just tell you how much work is going into the pre-production phase of this film, and how well they are using their sets. It's a great insight into the filmmaking process and well worth a look.

My only problem with this site is that they have no feed! Come on web guys at the 300 site, get yourself a feed up there so we can all keep updated on the news.

300 is looking very good so far and has my excitement levels high, even at this early stage.
