Basinger to join 24 series?

KimBasinger.jpgAfter The Sentinel Kim Basinger is apparently considering joining the cast of the TV series 24, and Kiefer Sutherland is keen for the idea too. Considering his Production and starring role I would think his word would carry a lot of weight with that suggestion.

Of course the news from IMDB could all be hype for The Sentinel release, but then again it might not be. Basinger is not only a stunning gorgeous lady, she's also a great actress. I just watched L.A. Confidential the other night (as is joked, that French film La Confidential - say it with a french accent!) and she was smouldering in it, she just commanded the screen on every single scene.

I'd love to see her more regularly on screen, and a high quality show such as 24 would be an ideal place. What do you think? There is the argument that perhaps she's too big for the show. Her big screen recognition amongst smaller screen stars would perhaps overshadow the show?

Smouldering! What a word!

Yes, I loved her too in "L.A. Confidential", her Best Supporting award well-deserved.
