Dolly Parton comeback in Nine to Five sequel?

NinetoFive.jpgThere's some ridiculous talk of movie sequels on the go, but none moreso than a sequel of Nine to Five featuring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin!

The bizarre news from JoBlo makes me wonder if those guys have come home after a big night out and decided to post drunk! (No offence guys!). They say that on the Larry King show Fonda was mentioning that there's talk of a sequel which would be pitched some thirty years later, i.e. real time.

Oh dear, isn't this the worst news? Surely this film was of a time, if ever there was a film that subscribed to that statement, how could they genuinely consider doing it again? I could see it with three new leading ladies, but still, that story just wouldn't work nowadays...would it? The sequel would have to go into totally new territory...I can't even believe I'm analysing it!

Oh for crying out loud!!!

What a way to make a living!

Oh man...Morbius you deserve a prize for that!

I completely disagree with you guys.

Dolly Parton is a shrewd businesswoman and sees the potential here to make a good fun family movie.

If steve martin has the gall to make sh!t(excuse me) like cheaper by the dozen, then surely parton has the option to give it a go as well?

Oh come now Pablo, surely neither has the right to churn out rubbish?

Maybe not, but i think dolly parton is a lot smarter than people give her credit for.

She has her family working for her at dolly-world, apparently if any of them ask her for money she offers them a job at her theme park instead.

i am just saying that i think she has more of chance of making a 3star film than a other individuals in holly-wood.

i'm not saying it will be any good, i just think it will be good fun.
