I'm amazed at Michael Douglas, amazed that he keeps going and he still commands a varied career. News is out that he's starring in another comedy film alonside Evan Rachel Wood called The King of California.

From Filmstew comes the blurb:

First-time director Michael Cahill is in the big chair to tell the story of a teenage girl and her eccentric father, who is obsessed with the idea of finding buried treasure in the San Fernando Valley.

Okay, so I did say those nice things about Douglas, but I am concerned that his career is heading the way of other heavyweights from old and go down the pan with lightweight comedies. Hopefully he'll only do a couple and get back to the thrillers and keep his status high, otherwise he's set for more demeaning toilet jokes.
