Mike Myers in Robot Uprising

MikeMyers.jpgMike Myers is returning to our screens and this time it won't be in disguise or under make up. This time he will be a geeky techy (read: Technical Administrator) who has to research ways of keeping the growing number of robots in the world from taking over.

The outline from Variety and through Coming Soon sounds quite cool:

Myers sparked to playing the lead character, a technical administrator who has the thankless job of sounding warnings against the growing presence of robots and researching ways to keep those robots from taking over.

Sounds okay, but what I really want to see is Myers in all his comic goodness, and that looks set to happen considering he's reteaming with the Producer from the Powers trilogy. Here's hoping this leads to another funny film...but can he escape that green ogre?
