Narnia sequel Prince Caspian confirmed

TheChroniclesofNarniaI_Poster.jpgThe next in the Chronicles of Narnia to make it to the big screen is Prince Caspian, which is the second written, but fourth chronologically in the series...okay...written in light pencil is the 2007 date, although I think it will be a push to make that and I can really see it slipping.

The news from IGN is that they may also abandon New Zealand as the location and use Ireland...hopefully the story is set in Winter with lots of rain...that's all we seem to get on these wee islands! Scouts (not those ones, location ones!) have been looking around Britain at locations. Probably these are for specific shots, I can't really see the whole thing being shot in Britain, although it would be fab.

Director Andrew Adamson is back, as are the original children. I'm quite excited for this, the first was stunning and I can't see anything less from this one.

I found the story aimed a little low. it would be nice to see this one be a little darker and
maybe a touch scary(but not to scary....yikes!)

I read the books in the ff. order and thought it made more sense.

1. The Magician's Nephew
2. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
3. The Horse and His Boy
4. Prince Caspian
5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
6. The Silver Chair
7. The Last Battle

"Prince Caspian" is one of my favorites and this is good news if it has been confirmed! Although I'm still hoping that they also make "The Horse and His Boy", as that was so much fun with.... nah, I will not say any more spoilers in case any of you guys hadnt read 'em. ;-)

I totally agree with Simone!
Why aren't they making 'The Horse and His boy'?
It's my favorite in the Narnia series!

Hey Amber, it's also my favorite!!! ;-) I mean, even if they do it after Prince Caspian, it wouldnt really hurt the timeline of the films.
