Spy Hunter script and clips online
The script for Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run has been read and reviewed, and not only that but now online are clips showing the conceptual art for how Spyhunters vehicles will operate.
Over at Latino Review they've reviewed the script (with spoilers although they say they'll keep them light), the run down is pretty much this...
The script is hot. I enjoyed the hell out of reading it. A good old-fashioned balls to the wall popcorn adventure movie. It feels like Raiders of the Lost Ark but with the car – the G-6155 Interceptor. Hell on wheels. This is not a movie for the intellectual movie going types. This is your opening weekend escapist Hollywood testosterone adventure movie. You are going to this film to strictly see the gadgets and the car.
No real surprises there, apart from how sold on it they are. I was thinking that this film would be rubbish, as bad as Doom if not worse. At least Doom had some concepts that could have been explored, even if they weren't in the film, but Spyhunter? A car\boat\bike with guns and missiles that shoots other vehicles? Woo, I'm all a tingle. Mind you there's John Woo to consider.
Still, the guys over there like it for a no brainer action film, so perhaps it will deliver? That aside they have five clips [QT] showing the concepts behing the car firing weapons, changing into a bike and a boat, and being refitted by the supply truck. Some of them look okay, but going from the car to the bike or the boat seems really one way with over half the car being dropped by the roadside. Isn't tipping illegal?
