Filmstalker: Stone to direct Basic Instinct 3

Sharon Stone may now be considering directing Basic Instinct 3, a film for which a script already exists.

Sharon Stone will direct Basic Instinct 3 in Britain, the actress has revealed. The blonde star is keen to continue the franchise - following her return as Catherine Tramell in the recently released sequel - but wants to step behind the camera next time around. Stone, 48, says, "There's a script for the next part of the story - but I would like to direct it rather than star in it. "It will be filmed in the UK again as the setting is more intense and gritty."

The news comes from IMDB comes after hearing that she might start a singing career. She also stated that she doesn't want to appear in another Instinct, and then suggested afterwards that she just might like to...confused? I am! Is this all some elaborate publicity, or something genuine? Could we stomach another Instinct?

I think Stone is sounding a tad bit loopy. And to think a studio is going to back another Instict movie?? Someone there is also loopy!

Right, so now she is the new Barbra Streisand- she's an actress that wants to sing, and next direct. (Although with Ms Streisand she can both act and sing) Why not?
