For some time now excitement around Darren Aronofsky's film The Fountain has been high but news very light. I remember a while ago seeing the first teaser for it in a crappy little format, but I don't remember ever getting the chance to see it in good quality from Apple. Well they have it.

They've actually had it since November last year, but I just don't remember seeing it, and with a friendly email popped into me I caught it over at Apple Trailers [QT:S:M:L:FS:HD].

It looks fantastic, I love the repeating images through time and the constantly moving camera. It does promise so much by having said so little. According to the Darren Aronofsky News Blog, screenings happened at the end of March and various sites reviewed it well (I'm staying clear of them, I want to be totally spoiler free for this) and that Fountain is heading for Canne's this year. Yet there's still no solid word of when we'll actually get to see it.

I'm still excited for the film, even having had next to no information about it...now we just need to see it!
