Timberlake ignores Edison critics

JustinTimberlake.jpgJustin Timberlake is saying he doesn't care that critics aren't enjoying his film Edison that much, and he's concentrating on his future roles, of which there seem to be many.

At Starpulse News Blog they have the story and a few quotes:

The film has been described as a "a star-studded dud of a B-picture" and the 25-year-old's performance as a reporter as like "a reporter from Seventeen magazine".

But Timberlake has already taken on a host of follow-up roles and is determined to keep trying. He says, "I'm doing what I want to do, no matter what other people think. If you enjoy and you're inspired and driven, then that's all that matters."

Well he's in Southland Tales, Black Snake Moan and Shrek the Third...so perhaps he'll grow into this acting malarky?

I seriously hate the Timberlake.

however, kudos to him for not listening to critics and following his dream. more people need to be like this.

for every ten terrible actors this kind of thought creates and allows, there's one natural that surprises us all.

I can live with that.

Yeah, but Timberlake's in a position where he can afford to tell the critics to piss off, because millions of teenage girls will buy his albums and go to his films irrespective of what the critics say against him.

And following your dreams is nice, but you need a bit more than just inspiration and drive. Remember, Ed Wood had dreams as well...
