Bond's new car for Casino Royale

The new Aston Martin DBS has been unveiled and it's the brand new official Bond car for Casino Royale. Frankly it's looking a lot like other Aston Martin cars and nothing like a car from the time period of the beginning of Bond would look.

Still though, it's a damn fine looking car with that gorgeous front end, and looks like it has enough room to hide gadgets aplenty.

You can see the full pictures over at Autoblog. What do you think, a fitting car for Bond? Does it seem like they are breaking with the movie timeline to incorporate something so modern?

I love this car; I might be wrong but I thought this film was set in the present day, just they where rebooting the series. So this is a fresh start and they can ignore the timeline of the previous movies.

Oh baby! what a beauty.

its a well know fact that the cars i own(mostly through choice but sometimes through demand) are the biggest piles of crap you will ever lay eyes on, but as for loving great sports cars, i am a little bit of an enthusiast.

the astons have always been a bond car for me, even when they weren't appearing in bond movies(sacrilege i tell yee!!) and its awesome to see them in the full splendour once again.

can't wait to hear the engine noise when Q pulls up in front of the casino and hands the keys over to 007....

big heavy and lots of noise.
