Cars stars F1 drivers

RedBull-StarWars.jpgI just saw Martin Brundle interviewing John Lasseter and Owen Wilson on the Formula 1 grid before the Spanish Grand Prix begins and they revealed that some F1 drivers are in the new animated movie Cars, and it appears it may be different drivers for different audiences.

Wilson revealed that they were in Spain doing promotional work for the film since some of the drivers were doing voices, particularly Michael Schumacher. Then Lasseter went onto say more, that the Spanish audiences would have Fernando Alonso.

This begs the question, are we going to see the different voices as we did with the Shrek television interviewer? Perhaps Britain will have Jenson Button or David Coulthard, perhaps both. Will we hear Scott Speed for the US, Jacques Villenueve for Canada?

Being a big F1 fan I hope that's the case, and being Scottish it really should be Coulthard!

That reminds me.......

One of my favourite belly laugh moments in the Incredibles was that scene with "Bomb Voyage" in the bank vault. His stereotypical French image and persona was hilarious "Monsieur Incroyablehh". Bloody great moment.

But I always wondered how they handles that scene in French screenings. Weird huh?

Damn good point actually. Perhaps the character is totally changed, although I doubt it.
