Casino Royale English teaser online

The Casino Royale site is set to go live in sixteen days, but in its place right now is a single page with the English teaser available to view. Yes this really is starting to turn into trailer saturation.

Thanks to Cinema Blend who point to the official holding page which carries the teaser in a bespoke player called Vividas. You can get it in High or Low and the High is full screen and pretty good.

Craig still doesn't say those immortal lines, but the opening is pretty cool with the M speech of promotion, here we get a taste of what Bond began as. My hopes are actually lifted by this teaser.

Looks ok, but it would have been nice if we had seen James Bond in the trailer for the new Bond film! ;-)

Bitchy jokes about Craig aside there was one other thing in the teaser that I had a problem with. It appears that Bond is promoted to OO status during this film by Judi Dench's 'M'.

However as I recall Goldeneye makes it clear that she was not Bond's original 'M'. Using Dench makes no sense at all.

It's the Highlander II syndrome again. Sean Connery had no place in that movie having been killed in the first one but the film makers ignored the logic and setup of the first movie in order to put him in it. Unfortunately Connery's appearance was the only good thing about Highlander II and he should not have even been in the film!

RARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

The French teaser trailer really piqued my interest, its always sexy in French eh? With this I am still just as speechless and stunned. Bring on the quintessential spy. I'm there on November 17. *winks*

One thing I did like about the teaser trailer is how the new Bond admitted he had "a very short life expectancy". ;-)
