Forest Whitaker has been signed to star in the film Vantage Point. We've talked about this one before, it's a movie that takes five different views of a Presidential assassination attempt, each around fifteen minutes in length designed to slowly bring out the true story of events.

Whitaker will play an American tourist who captures video footage of the would-be assassin.

Whitaker is another actor\director I highly rate, and yet although he's starred in many movies he's not really that well noticed. Sure you'll recognise him but his big movie appearances are far outweighed. Still there are six strong movies on his current work list, and one of them The Air I Breathe is a big cast film that is based on a chinese proverb breaking down life into four emotional cornerstones of happiness, pleasure, sorrow and love. That in itself sounds interesting enough.

Vantage Point will be another strong cast thriller for him, and let's hope that both movies do well and we see more of his natural acting style onscreen. While we're checking your favourite role for Keaton, what about for Whitaker? Ghost Dog?
