Morgan Freeman has signed up to the Ben Affleck adapted and directed film Gone, Baby, Gone, based on a novel by Dennis Lehane.

That adds to the two other names attached, one being the very impressive Ed Harris and the rapidly rising Michelle Monaghan. The news comes from Coming Soon.

Is this perhaps some early signs that Affleck has got what it takes to be behind the camera?
