Miami Vice trailer

MiamiVice_Poster.jpgThe latest of Michael Mann's movies, Miami Vice, now has an official trailer and it's all over the Net.

You can see it courtesy of Apple trailers [QT:S:M:L:HD:iPOD] along with the previous teaser.

Usual deal, it's a weekday and I can't see it until I get home, so it's up to you to tell us what you think. Get watching and then get commenting - is this going to be cheese laden, or bear no resemblance to the original series? The word is it's darker and grittier, almost like a real life version. From the teaser I was reminded a lot of Collateral.

Can I even be more less enthused about this project?

Yawns.

I was never a fan of the TV series and am not a fan of all these small screen to big screen adaptions.

The again this is not the first time Michael Mann has remade one of his TV projects as a cinema movie.

"Heat" was based on his earlier "LA Takedown". Since he is a capable director (love Last of the Mohicans)I might just, (only might mind you) watch... the trailer.

You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well, I'm the only one here. Who do the fuck do you think you're talking to? Oh, yeah? Ok. [whips out sleeve gun] Huh?
