Pacino video podcasts on Salome
Al Pacino is starting to record short video discussions about his new stage play Salome, not only that but they have a blog running on the official site. Although there's not much cotent there yet, and it's mostly all regarding the stage play, we're assured the content will build and there should be some information relating to Pacino's directed behind the scene documentary Salomaybe.
The first video can be seen over at the media section of the official site, with Pacino discussing what the play is, how it will be performed and his fondness for the role.
The blog, which is linked in the Filmmakers Feed List, carries a couple of stories and the latest tells us a little about the documentary:
“Salomaybe?” will be the title of a documentary, directed by Pacino, in the style of his 1996 film “Looking for Richard,” which spliced together scenes from William Shakespeare’s Richard III and actors rehearsing Richard III with commentary on the work by actors. The new film is expected to complete production this year.
