The story broke on Re-Animator movies returning and the rumour then was that William H. Macy was set to play the President, well that looks to be confirmed along with the most interesting plot.

...The U.S. President dies, so one high-ranking moron calls Dr. West in to bring the Commander-in-Chief back to life ... and if you've ever seen, say, 5 random minutes of Re-Animator, then you know precisely what happens next.

(Is this a documentary?) Oh this is going to be a lot of fun. As they say over at Cinematical this series gets overlooked for Evil Dead so often, and yet this contains as much humour and horror as that series, and it contains an inept anti-hero who is superb fun onscreen. If you haven't given it a go, you should, and this return to the franchise could provide it with a much needed return.
