News is out that Superman Returns is being released two days earlier to allow it more revenue earning time before the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

Warner Bros. Pictures will release Superman Returns two days earlier on June 28, a Wednesday. It gives the Bryan Singer-directed comic book adaptation two more days to collect box office before Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest opens on July 7.

Is the news from Coming Soon. Coming Soon don't really point out what other countries can expect in terms of their release dates, which is really helpful, check out your local release date on IMDB, however I think everyone outside the US remains unchanged.

In other news the new Superman Returns website is online and contains the usual amount of items to warrant a website. Downloads, the same videos, icons, wallpapers, etc. However you can catch the Quicktime trailers there. Iron on pictures are also coming...now that's cool!
