Superman Returns Full Trailer online

The brand new, full Superman Returns trailer that is due to air before Mission Impossible III is now online and you can see it. Frankly, this highlights the magic of the movies, for all our doubting and questioning, these few brief moments fill me with all the magic and excitement I felt when Reeves first took to the sky.

Watch as Kevin Spacey blows you away as Luthor, that little speech is superb. See Superman fly and look stunning as he does, and hear that wonderful music build. Superman Returns.

There's some excellent touches and little nods to the original, but I agree with Vic, some of it looks a bit too polished, a bit too modern. We'll have to wait until we see it on the big screen, and I hope to see that Thursday morning around 10:30am. I can't wait.

OH OH OH OH OHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Since the announcement that there will be a new Superman, the only thing that really made me think it will work is because Singer is directing and Spacey was cast as Luthor.

After seeing this trailer, I have never been this excited for any film this year. I was so looking forward to DVC, but now I have just changed allegiance, Superman Returns is now my must-see film this year!!!

Brandon Routh seems very adequate. There are some shots in the trailer where he displays an unusual mixture of energy and emotion.

Eve Marie Saint ("North by Northwest") as Martha Kent, and how it pleases me to watch Frank Langella ("Dracula" in the excellent John Badham version) as Perry White.

It also seems the work on storyboard has been thorough. I won´t say anything about Fx. They-are-awesome.

Did I say something about Kevin Spacey? He rocks!!!

The shot with Luthor holding the "alien technology" (that stone with colours) is awesome.

This is the Superman Year. This is the movie of the Year, as 2005 was Sith.

Peter, you sound like a real happy kid who has just been given tons of candy!!! LOL But I have to agree with my fellow Star Wars geek over here, if Sith was last year's blockbuster film, it will be Superman Returns this year. And rightfully so, let's go back to the basics shall we?

Maybe it´s time to put things in place. I hope Superman Returns is far better than Batman Begins. Batman Begins is all right, but Tim Burton´s Batman is FAR supperior.

Superman is the film of the year, yes.

But for me, specifically for me, it´s David Fincher´s Zodiac.
