I'm sure I heard the announcement of a remake of the musical On the Town before, but now it appears that the casting for the Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly parts have been announced. John Travolta and Christian Slater!

Now Travolta I can get because he has a dancing pedigree, but Slater? From Broken Arrow to dancing sailors?
