Van Damme is back in Til Death

VanDamme.jpgI could hardly believe it either, but the news is that Jean-Claude Van Damme has returned and will be on our screens with Stephen Rea and Chubby Checker alongside him in Til Death. Yes, Stephen Rea, and yes, I did say Chubby Checker!

From Time Out Movie Blog comes the bizarre and almost exciting news, I mean who wouldn't want to see Van Damme back?

Starring Van Damme as a corrupt cop who nearly dies during a shoot-out, 'Til Death' follows his journey to redemption following several months spent in a coma...The film has been shooting on location in Sofia, and is now moving to New Orleans for the final five days of production.

There's no stopping him. Actually it appears that The Hard Cops and Second in Command were both released in 2006 and his last movie before that was Wake of Death in 2004...so he's not been that far away from us.

Ah the Muscles from Brussels. Is it bad that I didn't notice he hadn't been around...Surely he's getting a bit old to be cracking heads, only Arnie can pull it off at his age. Although the new film does sound promising. Favourite of his old films must be Universal Soldier.

he must be joking? action/fighting movies have moved on.

there will have to be quite a substantial difference between this one and his previous films.

and going on the short blurb, there isn't.

straight to video.(note: not even dvd)

Chuby Checker is NOT in Til Death. This has been confirmed to me. It's just another anti-vandamme poster at IMDB.com

This movie will kick as. It's mostly action. But don't be surprised if theres a little martial arts.

Ice.
