The news that the Brothers Strause, as they seem to be called, have landed the Directors role for the Alien vs Predator 2 movie, otherwise known as AVP2.

The news was previously reported from Wikipedia, but since we were questioning the truth of IMDB earlier in the week, I had huge doubts about the Wikipedia entries. However it seems as though it is true with an announcement on their website:

Jun 07th - AVP2! The Bros. have signed on to direct their first feature.

The news comes from Coming Soon, with the original Wikipedia notice from IGN Film Force.

You can see some of their award winning work on their own site, and it's really good stuff. It's not all music videos and commercials though, the effects company they own has worked on a fair few Fox action films.
