Bacon's Loverboy trailer online

KevinBacon.jpgThe trailer for Kevin Bacon's second directorial outing Loverboy is now online. The film is about a dysfunctional family and carries an R rating, it also stars a fair chunk of his immediate family too.

The trailer is hosted at Apple Trailers [QT:M:iPod].

Just yesterday I wrote about Bacon discussing this movie and the fact that some family members starred in it, as well as the possibility of him turning from his trademark darker roles and returning to his lighter side.

I'm not so sure that's such a great idea, as a member of the audience I mean, perhaps it's a great career move for him but although I loved some of his eighties performances, I like the darker roles. It'll also be interesting to see how he is behind the camera too.

Oh, it gave me goosebumps seeing Sedgwick, Campbell Scott and Dillon together, I loved them in Cameron Crowe's "Singles", you should watch that Richard.

Oh come now, of course I've seen SIngles! Excellent film. It's a good film, although slightly dated to rewatch.

Another Sedgewick film I like is Phenomenon. Lovely movie.

Now I've just watched this and it has me interested. The trailer has some really dark and worrying undertones, and all from a direction I didn't expect. It looks good.

I knew I should have also said in that post, "if you havent already".

I guess one of the reasons why I admire Bacon is that his marriage with Sedgwick is still going strong, only a handful of Hollywood couples are still together.

Yes, Phenomenon! And the trailer for Loverboy does look good.

Why should people go out and pay money to see bad films, when they can stay home and see bad television and pay nothing?
