Interview with M. Night Shyamalan online

MNightShyamalan.jpgThere's an interview online with M. Night Shyamalan, director of the upcoming Lady in the Water movie, and although it's incredibly lengthy and the interviewer does like to talk himself, there are some good bits of information in there about Shyamalan and his movies in general.

The interview is over at AICN through dtheatre.

If you're a Knowles or Shyamalan fan then the interview is for you. Otherwise there's not a lot to be had from it to be honest. Keep this story in mind though, there's a feature coming that's connected with the story.

Phew! What a long but interesting interview indeed.

I have not seen many Hitchcock films but like Night I do lean on "Rebecca" as my favorite, not just because of Sir Olivier. ;-) And how amazing that people do talk to him about Unbreakable more!

I wonder what that feature will be?

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
- Jack Burton, Big Trouble in Little China
