Keith Richards in Pirates?

KeithRichards.jpgThe story that Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones might just be in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, and it's risen again, just like the man himself.

From Digital Spy comes the news. However I'm really dubious because we originally heard that there was a move to try and get him and he was busy with his tour, since his recent accident and operation I would doubt he has the time, particularly since the tour is back on.

Still, it would be a wonderful thing to see him in the role, especially considering the character of Jack Sparrow is really him...although younger...much younger.

I just assumed he was cast already!

At this point I could careless...if his in, he's in, if not, oh well. July 7th will be a fun day at the movies no matter what.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
- Jack Burton, Big Trouble in Little China
