Kubrick's first film online

StanleyKubrick.jpgStanley Kubrick's first film has just appeared online for you to view. Day of the Fight was made in 1951 and it marked his first (or second) proper film at the age of 22.

Actually it could well be his second, Mutiny Company have the film and although they say it's his first, according to IMDB it's his second after Flying Padre.

I haven't been able to see it yet as I'm at work, I'm also slightly concerned about the legality of it, but it seems the site can post it so we'll go with it. Make your own judgement and let us know.

Movable Type 3.34

It's possible, Pig, I might be bluffing. It's conceivable, you miserable, vomitous mass, that I'm only lying here because I lack the strength to stand. But, then again... perhaps I have the strength after all. [slowly rises] DROP... YOUR... SWORD!
- Westley, The Princess Bride
