Make your own Thing costume

Over at the Make site they have the coolest shot of someone who has made their own Thing costume with real rocks. Yes that's Thing from the Fantastic Four comics and movie. It looks spectacular but weighs a mammoth 100lbs!

The guy who made the full costume took photographs of each stage, and you can see and learn about the whole process over at his site.

How cool is that, and how much time has this guy got on his hands? At least wearing the suit will make you fit!!

Trick or treat!!!

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
- Jack Burton, Big Trouble in Little China
