There's a lot of love over at Disney just now as news comes that the Rock has sustained an injury on the The Game Plan and production has stopped, but Disney remains as lovely as ever.

"While this is a set back for our production schedule, we completely support him as he recuperates and look forward to resuming production when Dwayne is fully recovered," said Nina Jacobson, President of Walt Disney Motion Picture Group.

Perfectly nice, and they should be, after all it is a big sports movie and Rock is known for going all in on these things. The big man will be relaxing in style though. According to Coming Soon:

"I approached this role trying to be as true to the character as possible and the fact is professional athletes train hard and get hurt. My injury, while serious, is unfortunately common with this type of activity. I am so appreciative of the outpouring of support that I have received from Disney, and all those involved with this film. I anticipate that with some TLC, pizza and a lot of donuts..."

There you go, typical Rock, he went in hard and took one for the team. Well done big man! Now he's got that awful chore of eating donuts and pizza all day...that's what I do, I just don't get the same workout regime anymore. Perhaps I could help Rock return to fitness after his period of getting well? Ahem!
