Well the hype around Transformers is kicking off as we see the official site pop up online with nothing more than a countdown and the teaser background, and the official teaser poster. Neither have me excited.

The teaser poster can be seen in all it's glory over at AICN, or in smaller version through Cinema Blend. The official site has that poster zoomed in, and does look quite cool.

However sites are going mad for this and people are wetting their pants. I don't see it, big eye over the Earth, we've seen similar things for Earth threatening movies before. Sure the tagline is quite nice, but it's not that exciting...is it?
