AVP 2: Alien Vs. Predator 2 plot revealed

AlienvsPredator.jpgThe plot for AVP 2: Alien vs. Predator 2 has appeared online, and it's a beaut. Apparently it was live on the Fox official site, although now it seems to have disappeared...wishful thinking? Fan gone mad, or is this for real? You decide.

From Jo Blo comes the outline:

"Alien Vs. Predator: Survival of the Fittest" In this follow-up to the worldwide hit ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, the iconic monsters from two of the scariest film franchises ever, wage war in an American Midwestern town - with the residents caught in the middle.

Oh dear. Why is the first question. Why would these guys be fighting away in a MidWestern town? Predator was in the jungles because they were remote, hot and quiet. I didn't see AvP so I don't know what the bizarre reasoning for relocation to Antartica, but I presume remoteness was at the heart of it again. So why would they suddenly appear in the middle of a town? Contrived perhaps?

Why can't we just leap to the Alien comics, drop the versus Predator and see a world overrun by Aliens? Well Anderson seems to be focussing on this series for now, and it appears we want to see this...do we? Is there something good to be had from this tale?

The backstory of AVP which introduced how the Predators came to fight with the Aliens was very well done in my opinion. Unfortunately, the movie was very poor in every other respect including the fight sequences. While I still like the idea of having both creatures in a movie together, based on what we saw with the first, this one should be truly pathetic.

AvP2 should be good i hope but they should really base it off the games...they were better

and AvP kick ass far as action goes

having been a huge fan of both the entire alien and predator collection i must admit a sequel to AVP would be dearly sort after. as for the critics of AVP please guys, get a life for a first attempt at something like that on such a scale it was awesome, the plot fitted nicely with the whole weyland thing, and if you think about some of the corperations today and what they pull its a very very believable plot. also the fight scenes where awesome, these are larger than life ALIEN beings, what do you want to see, these guys puffing and panting like cheep city drunks throwing haymaker shots like in a street fight. they are stronger and faster than us, uneffected by decades of fast food, convenience items and sunbed abuse. these guys are real time survival of the fitest, if you dont believe me just pop out to the bush tribes in central africa and try arm wrestle one of those bad boys, dont cry when you get your arse tanned tho. anyway cant wait to see the follow up

you guys are guy and predators whoop aliens ass

honestly,I've been excited just at the thought of of a second AVP right when I saw the first AVP! I've always loves the predator movies, and when two worlds(movies) collided it was awesome, especially how the people were stuck right in the middle. I wonder, at the end of AVP an alien/predator thing came out of the dead predator. Will that be in the second one? I do hope so.It was cool how they madethe predators be the good guys, in my twisted little head, I've always like the predators for some reason....BOO Arnold... Go predator!!!! I'm counting down the days till AVP2!-Abby-huge gore fan-

Oh yea its abby again, is it true its coming out december 25th...rock on...if somebody knows more about avp2 Id love to know...Confuzed93@aol.com
