Strange that the first time the Babel trailer went online it wasn't really there, well now it is, and it packs an incredibly powerful and engaging punch. This looks set to be one hell of a film.

Previously on Filmstalker, I linked to a short clip of a powerfully emotive scene between Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt, which was so beautifully played and very moving in such a short space of time. Well now put in context this is made so much more powerful by the trailer itself.

You can see the trailer over at Apple Trailers, and it's a great one. I watched it twice, and that's unusual for me. The tension and power just builds and builds, and it looks like both Blanchett and Pitt (as well as the other leads I'm sure) are putting their hearts into the performances.
