Butterfly Effect 2 trailer online

The trailer for the movie Butterfly Effect 2 is now online. This is the sequel to...well, the first movie, and it's straight to DVD.

I just watched it, and it's same story, cheaper actors, more sex. You can see the studio execs ticking the boxes on the flip chart before heading out for lunch.

You can see the trailer direct from New Line [QT:L] through MoviesOnline.

I still haven't seen the first, but I hear it's got a great idea, cool effects, but poor execution. I suspect more of the same here. Why do they insist on doing such half arsed attempts at sequels? Couldn't they even try and do something a little different?

Yeah, that looks pretty pathetic. The first was actually very good in a lot of ways and had some interesting ideas. It's not one of those films you're going to watch over and over again, but it will definitely take you through a full range of emotions.

Nothing beats a good laugh early in the morning! LOL

I actually enjoyed the first quite a bit, which surprised me as I expected to hate it, very enjoyable Hollywood film in my opinion that deserved a decent sequel and not this straight to video nonsense.
