The official site and trailer for Crank have been updated since our last visit, and the more I'm seeing of this the better it's looking. Jason Statham is one of my personal favourite action actors, and even when he's in a bad film, he's great to watch, so this is a must for me.

The official site has the usual stuff on it, but it has a cool feature, you have to keep your mouse moving to keep your adrenaline meter up, otherwise you'll pass out of the site. Nice.

There's also a link to photos and a short write up from Comic-Con, where the panel of directors and actors talked about the film and the unique style. Statham did all his own stunts and they filmed them real, no CGI. One director took wide shots while the other would be doing close ups. Now I don't know about you, but that style sounds like it's going to give them a lot of great material for an action film, and the trailer backs that up.

As for the trailer, you can now see it in the varying formats of Quicktime, and it looks superb over at Apple Trailers.
