The news is everywhere that Peter Cullen will return as the voice of Optimus Prime in the new film of Transformers. Cullen provided original voice of Prime, and quite frankly it would have been mad to have attempted to cast anyone else.

There's not much more to say on that point, other than realising that there's a lot of attention being given to both the fan base and the original movie. It would have been so easy to recast the voice, so maybe we should hold back the negativity and see what happens, perhaps Bay could turn out something extraordinary.
