Day of the Dead casts Suvari

MenaSuvari.jpgSo the rumours yesterday of the Day of the Dead casting were spot on, although it seems that most other people also picked up that Mira Sorvino was also set to star...unfortunately not, and most people can't figure out how that name came out when the real casting was in fact Mena Suvari. How could they have done that?

Alongside the Rhames and Suvari news Blackfilm through Arrow in the Head have some additional announcements:

Michael Welch, Annalynne McCord, Stark Sands, and Nick Cannon

Still no word on how closely the remake will follow the original, if at all. Nice casting in the two leads though, I am a fan of both actors, and for entirely different reasons!

Mmmm, I can think of the reasons for you liking Ving Rhames.

Mena Suvari though I'm at a complete loss. The emotional depth which she brings to all her roles?

All I know is it's a frickin Zombie movie and I am in! Zombie kick ass huh huh huh...huh.

Seriously, they could make 3 zombie movies every year and I would go see them. Can't get enough. Don't know why. I read "Zombie Survival Guide" recently. Pretty fun and I am now prepared man.

Actors are fools to complain about the public's attention. They should be glad to have it, not claim they dislike it, and yet go out of their way to seek it.
