De Palma's The Black Dahlia trailer online

TheBlackDahlia.jpgBrian De Palma's latest film The Black Dahlia finally has a trailer online. The story is adapted from the James Ellroy novel set in the 1940's when the real life brutal murder of Elizabeth Short occurred. This story tells the tale of the two cops who head the investigation and uncover corruption and conspiracy.

The trailer is over at Yahoo Movies through dTheatre [QT:S:M:L:FS].

Luckily they stop short of the picture I linked to the other day, and even without any hint of that the trailer is superbly strong. It looks fantastic. Rich and deep with bags of atmosphere and looks, it's almost dripping with style. I really am excited about this film.

The victim has been cut in half, all organs removed, blood drained from the body, and the mouth sliced ear to ear...

Wow, very strong stuff and the rest of the trailer holds it's head up high to that level of power. Definitely worth watching.

Awesome trailer!!! The cast is dubious, but if only for Aaron Eckhart, and the superb environment, and the grim story... it´s worth it.

This trailer looks really amazing! I mean, I loved Curtis Hanson's treatment of James Ellroy's L.A. Confidential but this, I mean this is a Brian de Palma! So if the film turns out to be what the trailer makes out of it then it can easily make it to my Top 20!

People sometimes say that the way things happen in the movies is unreal, but actually it's the way things happen in real life that's unreal.
