DOA producers discuss plot

PaulWSAnderson.jpgJeremy Bolt is Paul W.S. Anderson's producing partner, and together they have created DOA: Dead or Alive the movie. Although I've already reported that sequels are being eyed, this latest story gives us the most insightful comments into the current movie and what to expect. Let me tell you, this is highbrow and intense, DOA will not be what you expect.

"What's great about 'DOA' is the fantastic fighting opportunities, but also the sexiness with the volleyball, with the island. It has some phenomenal fight sequences...

...it [has] fantastic fight sequences, but also it's sexy. We put volleyball in the movie. There's a 3 minute volleyball sequence...

...Jaime [Pressly]...also a brilliant martial artist, great volleyball player. She's phenomenally fit and she looks damn fine in a bikini.

Okay I lied. The quotes from Coming Soon are far from intense or insightful. Three minute volleyball sequence and the bikini comments are perhaps all we need to know about the film. Acceptable porn for the teens...or the over thirties...

Obviously though I will review it for you, because I have to, and then we'll see if there really is space for a sequel. Seriously though, is anyone looking forward to this?

I'll pass. Why would I bother when I can get REAL porn on the internet?! :o)

Damn can you? Where?! I'm too busy with reading about movies all day and night!

LOL! When all the planets in the Solar System line up perfectly with the Sun, porn is accessible on the fancy fancy internet. It takes skill, precision-timing, and a gentle touch.

You can decide if there's a double meaning in there...

The critics? No, I have nothing but compassion for them. How can I hate the crippled, the mentally deficient, and the dead?
