Duchovny on Fire
David Duchovny seems set to return to the front of the camera in what looks to be quite a big cast film, Things We Lost in the Fire starring Halle Berry and Benecio Del Toro.
The Hollywood Reporter through Coming Soon have the blurb of the film:
Written by Allan Loeb, the story centers on a woman (Berry) whose husband (Duchovny) suddenly dies. The woman invites her husband's troubled best friend (Del Toro) to live with her family, and as the friend turns his life around, he helps the grief-stricken family confront their loss. Duchovny will appear in flashbacks.
It's been a while since I've seen Duchovny in something decent, I remember that serial killer film he was in was quite good, although for the life of me it's not going to come this way unless I check IMDB. Kalifornia, there, just did it. There was, of course, Evolution as well. These two roles are the only two I've really seen where he isn't Mulder, and so it will be interesting to see if he can hold it up with Del Toro.
