Estevez's Bobby poster

Here's the poster for hugely cast film from Emilio Estevez entitled Bobby, based on the assassination of Robert Kennedy, and it looks pretty good. Easily and simply it conveys the idea and feelings behind the film.

What do you think of it? You can see a larger version over at Coming Soon. I'm really desperate to see something of this film, the cast is stunning, and the promise high, never mind how dramatic the source material is. Could Estevez shock us all? He has certainly chosen a complex way of telling the tale, mixing different interpretations of the events of that night from different characters and merging them into one film. If he pulls it off this could well be a great movie.

Written and directed by Emilio Estevez? This is maybe the reason why I would be interested to see it. I have a very soft spot to all the members of the Brat Pack of the 80's, which includes Estevez.

Didnt he also used to date Demi Moore who is part of this star-studded film? Look at the names!

Really interesting stuff. I still remember the impact of JFK in my mind, and this promises to be at least a big thing.

I know this is slightly off subject, but I really liked him better than I did Charlie Sheen.

I'd heard he was working behind the camera. But for the life of me I can't think of whether or not I've seen any of his work at all.

this looks interesting. Different. That's saying the least.
