The director of Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer Tim Story, has updated his MySpace blog where he talks about working on Dr. Doom, and I have to say that the more I hear about this project outside of the Surfer, the more I worry it's going to be dumber than the first.

Here's what he says about getting Dr Doom more involved over on his MySpace blog found through Comic Book Movie.

I'm wrestling right now with the cape issue and trying to have it but not let it get in the way of him fighting...we're determined to have him blowing up sh*t! Wait until you see the mask! The armor!

I know I've been selective with my quotes there, but there's just nothing other than the Surfer that's making me think this is more than the far campier and lighter side of the comic genre, and something that really doesn't excite me. To be honest they never did in comic form anyway.

Interestingly Story is hinting that the title for the film hasn't yet been decided, and that he's asking what the MySpace community think. Is Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer not good enough?
