Foxx denies Marley role

JamieFoxx.jpgJamie Foxx has openly denied the rumour that he will be playing Bob Marley in an upcoming biographical film of his life.

According to Hard Beat News through Cinematical he denied the rumours and said it was all around just bumping into one of Marley's sons in a club.

Well-known Jamaican entertainment journalist, Kevin Jackson, has confirmed in an exclusive interview with Academy Award winning actor Jamie Foxx, that the artiste is not slated to portray reggae legend Bob Marley in an upcoming film documenting the singer’s younger years...

..."No, I will not be playing Bob Marley," Foxx commented to Jackson at the recently held BET Awards in Los Angeles. "I ran into one of his sons at a club the other day, and that was about it."

Personally I think this is great news, I never thought that Foxx would make a good Marley, he wouldn't look the part at all, although I'm sure his acting and singing could carry him, I just wouldn't feel like it was a true representation. What do you think?

If a person can tell me the idea in twenty-five words or less, it's going to make a pretty good movie.
