Guillermo Del Toro is currently unsure which of his next two projects is due to appear first, Hellboy 2 or H.P. Lovecraft's At The Mountains Of Madness. Hellboy 2 is a story we all know, but Mountains of Madness is a promising story which tells of an Antartic expedition that arrives at it's destination and discovers an ancient civilisation. Not Aliens and Predators!

At The Mountains Of Madness, set up at Warners, has a much better chance of going first – del Toro was scouting locations in last week and was effusive about the movie’s potential. "Oh man, you should see the maquettes,” he told the audience. “They are so beautiful, you will be crying and jerking yourself off in a corner at the same time."

Ermmm...I think that sounds like a good thing from Empire. Actually the idea of GDT and HPL married together sound perfect, his unique visuals with Lovecraft's unique and disturbing visions of writing are perfect. Wouldn't this just be a great movie to see?
