Hulk 2 gains director
The Hulk 2 has just gained a director, and it's not someone new, this guy knows action, and great action at that. Although it has to be said, he sometimes goes too far. Now does that sound like the ideal Hulk director to you?
Louis Leterrier is the man who gave us Transporter, Transporter 2 (review) and Unleashed. So two out of three ain't bad.
The news comes from the Hollywood Reporter through Coming Soon:
The trade says Arad and Feige first met with Leterrier two years ago and were struck by his passion for the Marvel Comics universe. It was that passion that shone through recently when -- after approached to gauge his interest in directing a new Hulk movie -- Paris-based Leterrier went back to his studio and, with the help of an artist, storyboarded two action sequences and developed a take on the monster. The script is being penned by Zak Penn, whose credits include Marvel's X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand.
Well that sounds promising indeed, he certainly can direct action, and some visually stunning sequences, so smashing and fighting is most definitely on the cards. So who to play the Hulk, and will he be all CGI again?
