Yes James Marsden of both Cyclops and Superman's love rival is set to star in the onscreen musical Hairspray which already has attracked Queen Latifah, John Travolta, Billy Crystal and according to reports Michelle Pfieffer.

I'm perplexed at the choices in this genre, I mean I can understand to a degree Mamma Mia because it's a cash cow, but Hairspray? Why aren't the studios looking more to the proposed Guys and Dolls remake for example? That would be a much better musical than a remake of Hairspray, surely?
